Cisco 2960 switch port blinking amber. I have seen that cause problems on the network where it will bring the speed of the network to a screeching halt if not conifgured properly. Both devices showed their respective interfaces up, no errors, no logs, but data would not pass. The documentation for the switch says blinking amber means STP is blocking the port, but this isn't the case apparently. No POST, no console connection when I tried via console cable on the front.
